The Who es un grop de rock britanic creat en 1964. Format per Pete Townshend a la guitarra, Roger Daltrey al cant, Keith Moon a la batariá e John Entwistle a la bassa. Grop simbòl de las annadas 1960, The Who aguèt una influéncia màger sus la musica rock.
Practicant a la començança un rock'n'roll espetant designat per lo tèrme de Maximum R'n'B e qu'anonciava lo movement punk, The Who es lo pionièr de fòrça autres estils, coma una musica rock pus estomida e influenciada per l'art en general, coma los operas rock.
Lo grop es tojorn en activitat dins las annadas 2000 après la mòrt del bateire Keith Moon en 1978 e del bassista John Entwistle en 2002.
