Lo Pinyin (chinés: 拼音; pinyin: Pīnyīn;, oficialament Hanyu Pinyin, (chinés simplificat: 汉语拼音; chinés tradicional: 漢語拼音, pinyin: Hànyǔ Pīnyīn), es lo sistèma fonetic oficial de trancripcion del chinés en caractèrs latins en China, Taiwan, e Singapor. Es sovent utilizat per ensenhar lo Mandarin estandard e ortografiar los noms chineses dins las publicacions estrangièras e pòt èsser utilizat coma metòde de sasida per dintrar los caractèrs chineses dins los ordenadors.

x	Modèl:IPAblink	push yourself	No equivalent in English. Like -sh y-, with the lips spread and the tip of your tongue curled downwards and stuck to the back of teeth when you say ee. The sequence "xi" is the same as the Japanese pronunciation of し(シ) shi.
